Beyond the AI rankings, Bengaluru secured the 15th position among the world’s leading startup ecosystems, with an estimated ecosystem value of approximately $153 billion, making it one of Asia’s most valuable innovation hubs.

Industry experts attribute Bengaluru’s rise to its deep talent pool, world-class research institutions, and thriving startup culture. The city is home to an estimated 600,000 AI and machine-learning professionals, making it the world’s second-largest AI talent hub.
Government-backed initiatives, research centers such as ARTPARK at IISc, and increasing investments in deep-tech startups have further accelerated innovation.

Bengaluru-based startups are leading advancements in generative AI, healthcare technology, fintech, enterprise software, robotics, and semiconductor design. Recent milestones, including the rise of AI unicorns and increasing venture capital investments, have reinforced the city’s reputation as a preferred destination for global technology investors.
